Virginia Smiles reaches out to many families in Virginia through various volunteer efforts, including:

A $2,000 college scholarship to a high school senior in Virginia who was born with a cleft lip/cleft palate
Social events for parents and the medical community to network, including a summer picnic and social outings
The family-oriented video entitled, "A Beautiful Child"
